For me\, that involved seeing how the “rough” part of myself affects my relationships\, especially re women – all this has improved\, for sure. I feel more at home in my life & am taking responsibility for my part in making it work well.  My shiatsu practice has gained from many factors including the confidence that emerged through the SG course & I have more clients now. Warmth..inspiring…richness…real intimacy…an adventure I have valued and gained deeply from. I thank you\, Tim & Joy ~ Kalandar Warren\, Stroud \nI realise that I am capable of intimacy – not in the future\, but now\, in how I relate to myself and others. I went into the group despondent about my ability to maintain intimacy (specifically in committed sexual relationship).  Even just writing that feels miraculous. Although I’m not looking for a relationship right now\, I know that I am capable of intimacy\, and will make a good partner. This is a massive shift for me. I find myself engaging more deeply with friends. When people brought relationship dynamics to the Circle\, it has really helped me see wounded patterning more clearly in myself and others. It was always clear when someone was able to communicate from deeper than just their stories\, with as much honesty & vulnerability as they could muster. I have learnt and healed so much from deep sharing with men\, in paired structures and on the forum. I am beginning to enjoy my femininity\, and finding\, expressing and loving my softer\, sensual\, womanly self.  I am also much more aware of my unhealthy if not destructive patterns of relating in all intimate relationships\, but particularly with men and on my way to changing them. I thought I had ‘missed the boat’ and would not get another chance at a relationship with a man\, but I have much more openness\, willingness and trust about that now. Sharing from gender circles – hearing both the men and women talk vulnerably\, openly and honestly about themselves and the other. The pair work and reflections on them. Witnessing the courageous people who come with their partners speaking deeply\, honestly\, vulnerably to heal and sort things out between them. Listening to Joy and Tim talking about their relating with breathtaking truth and love. Every minute in circle and out of circle in this community has potential for deep learning. The informational learning about breath and body and archetypes in relation to relating\, sensuality and s**uality was all really helpful. Anyone who takes the chance and dives in to being present\, alive and speaking openly cannot fail to be impacted by what is on offer here. Then it is our choice how we take learnings about love\, relating\, being alive into our lives. The values of truth\, love and depth are lived\, and demonstrated by Joy & Tim. I also saw huge benefit in how circles are successful when well facilitated and held with love. (with) other men – now it is less competitive / distrusting and I feel more of a sense of brotherly love. I came away not wanting to be such a loner & appreciate male friendship bonding. I have a great appreciation of how these structures provide building blocks towards improving intimacy. We have adopted several as rituals in our daily/weekly practices together. I see tremendous value for those couples or individuals who are struggling\, or have in the past struggled\, with intimate relating… deconstructing the triggers/flashpoints and providing valuable insights from which\, everyone could learn. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nStill\, present\, spacious\, alive\, pre-tingling nothingness is male essence and the source of our en-theos-asm\, creativity and power.\nGetting consciously present for the first time (rather than it just happening) is a blessing but can feel more like a curse as it becomes an elusive drug. Being present is a primary skill for us men – but as my first buddhist teacher said “It’s simple\, but it ain’t easy”. \n“You are not present!”\nMen – if you are lucky enough to have an honest woman in your life you will have heard this often\, and if you honest enough with yourself you will have said to yourself “I wasn’t present then” or “I’m not being present” \n  \nIt’s not all bad though – we’ve all experienced being wholly totally present too – vulnerably\, openly\, softly\, present or coldly\, cleanly\, incisively present. Present in stillness or at great speed\, perhaps in sport\, perhaps in lovemaking or in nature. \n  \nThis weekend will give you many opportunities to stop the outside world\, to practice and to be still and present\,and to get underneath what stops you.  We will travel as fellow men\, with appropriate authenticity\, physicality including some Qigong\, encouragement\, sharing\, challenge and meditations as we dive into stillness and see how actually simple it is to bring more of this into our daily lives long after our time together. \n  \nWe will meet Secret Garden Women at the end of our time together. It will be a strong re-meeting I expect.  This time together is a preparation for going deeper at the Joyful Loving retreat in late May. \nThis weekend is new.  It builds on authenticity but is appropriate to anyone who is drawn. I feel more at home in my life & am taking responsibility for my part in making it work well.  My shiatsu practice has gained from many factors including the confidence that emerged through the SG course & I have more clients now. I went into the group despondent about my ability to maintain intimacy (specifically in committed sexual relationship).  Even just writing that feels miraculous. Although I’m not looking for a relationship right now\, I know that I am capable of intimacy\, and will make a good partner. This is a massive shift for me. I have learnt and healed so much from deep sharing with men\, in paired structures and on the forum. I am beginning to enjoy my femininity\, and finding\, expressing and loving my softer\, sensual\, womanly self.  I am also much more aware of my unhealthy if not destructive patterns of relating in all intimate relationships\, but particularly with men and on my way to changing them. I thought I had ‘missed the boat’ and would not get another chance at a relationship with a man\, but I have much more openness\, willingness and trust about that now. Sharing from gender circles – hearing both the men and women talk vulnerably\, openly and honestly about themselves and the other. The pair work and reflections on them. Men who know this will agree it is hard to imagine how men cope in this increasingly utterly crazy world\, without it. This mini group is led by me\, Tim\, with the challenge to us all of – how authentic\, how real\, how honest is it possible to be in a short\, 3 part group? \nWe will meet for 90 minutes online on Thursday June 10th\, in person in the beautiful woods of the Slad valley\, for a full day and evening on Saturday\, 26th June\, and then again online on Thursday 29th July \nWe put a brave face on it but a lot of men are finding life hard these days – it’s moving so fast – we thought we knew our place and how to be. Nothing is solid any more. What are we missing? The exhaustion of trying new tricks and techniques shows on men’s faces. There is quiet desperation\, confusions or numbness\, for many. Re-Wilding is needed! Some essence-ial learnings\, healings and growth happen when men come together like this that don’t happen when women are present. \nA campfire will be our circle focus. My challenge throughout our time together is to facilitate you cleaning you out in places you will find have been unconsciously ‘tamed\,’ so that by the time we meet the women\, you feel literally re-wilded.  Towards the end of the day you will meet woman a-new for a short time\, in safely held ritual space. The Saturday\, June 26th retreat is face to face\, in nature. Both before (Thursday\, June 10 6 45-8 15pm) and after (Thursday\, July 29 6 45-8 15pm) this day we meet together online in women’s soft\, wild power circles. Recordings will be provided if you can’t attend one or both evening circles live. \nThe soft\, wild power theme online will be a beginning of what feels like a crucial\, core exploration for women which will be expanded on greatly during Being ongoing group. SUMMARY:Re-Wilding Men's Day (and online meetings)
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nTime shared with men\, in honest\, conscious communication and sharing is balm for the soul and for our essence-ial core as the man we are. Men who know this will agree it is hard to imagine how men cope in this increasingly utterly crazy world\, without it. This mini group is led by me\, Tim\, with the challenge to us all of – how authentic\, how real\, how honest is it possible to be in a short\, 3 part group? \nThis online circle is part of a short series offering retreat from your ‘ordinary’ life. Both before (Thursday\, June 10 6 45-8 15pm) and after (Thursday\, July 29 6 45-8 15pm) the Re-Wilding day\, we meet together online. Recordings will be provided if you can’t attend one or both evening circles live. We will meet for 90 minutes online on Thursday June 10th\, for a full day and evening on Saturday\, 26th June\, in person in the beautiful woods of the Slad valley\, and then again online on Thursday 29th July. \nWe put a brave face on it but a lot of men are finding life hard these days – it’s moving so fast – we thought we knew our place and how to be. Nothing is solid any more. What are we missing? The exhaustion of trying new tricks and techniques shows on men’s faces. There is quiet desperation\, confusions or numbness\, for many. Re-Wilding is needed! Some essence-ial learnings\, healings and growth happen when men come together like this that don’t happen when women are present. \nA campfire will be our circle focus during our June day meet. My challenge throughout all our time together is to facilitate you cleaning you out in places you will find have been unconsciously ‘tamed\,’ so that by the time we meet the women\, you feel literally re-wilded.  Towards the end of the day you will meet woman a-new for a short time\, in safely held ritual space. You choose your own way to respond to the invitations into deep connection\, and there will be rewarding no-touch options if that feels appropriate for you. \nLiberate the gifts of your untamed-ness \nDeepen your connection with your sensation-al life\, finding your voice\, expressing vulnerable truth\, while receiving another. \nYou can trust that I have both been on and facilitated these journeys many times and can absolutely assure you that\, if you give yourself to the process\, you will find yourself more attractive both to women and to your own authentic heart than you have for many moons.
