Local Bed & Breakfast for your Session or non-residential Course

Mayfaire

Mayfaire is a lovely, peaceful private home in England’s largest designated area of outstanding beauty. The Slad Valley has never been intensively farmed, sprayed or built on. It is a place of natural abundance and strong, healing energy and is acclaimed for it exceptional beauty.
We offer bed and breakfast on an informal, friendship basis for our non-residential courses, (but not usually for those coming for a private one to one session or a couple session) at a very much cheaper rate than you will find in the area for this quality of accommodation. You also have the benefit of staying in the energetic field of the course and relaxing with other participants. Breakfast is self-serve. The Hot Tub with its spectacular views is usually available for participants. Prices vary depending on whether you need a single bed, double bed or are willing to sleep on the floor on mats. Participants give us great feedback about staying here. Please ask for further information when you book a course and we will send full information and web links if b and b accommodation is offered at Mayfaire during that course.

Catered meals are generally offered on some evenings during non-residential courses. If catered meals are not offered on a particular evening (see your course info), you can get a good supper at The Woolpack (Laurie Lee’s old pub haunt) every night except Monday – good to book in advance. On Mondays you can go to the Butchers Arms, Sheepscombe, http://www.butchers-arms.co.uk, Fostons Ash, http://www.food-club.com/pubs/fostons-ash, (and go to http://www.food-club.com/offers for special deals) or into Stroud which is a couple of miles away.
