I thought my marriage might be over, that it was teetering and we wouldn't be able to come back from the brink. Whenever we are stuck my partner & I go to see Joy for a couples session (though I suspect regular sessions would be even better). Sometimes what happens in those sessions is totally unexpected, but Joy sees where the life needs to move & helps us do this. Sometimes afterwards I can’t really put my finger on what happened in the session but the shift we experience when we get home is truly astonishing & changes us forever. In our last session the shift was around family & our family life now feels so much happier & more relaxed to me & has resulted in us expanding our family which has brought a new life & so much more joy to our family life. We are learning to create the space where authentic communication can happen. I can share 'my truth' without the usual reproach about what F. has done or hasn't done. I'm learning that there is another 'reality' within F. that it's influenced by by the way he sees & perceives life as a male. I'm learning about my strengths and my shadows.
