Why do men withdraw from women?

One reason for male withdrawal can be this. When woman is upset or disappointed in her man (especially over weeks, months or years) her attempts to wake man up to what disturbs her, are misguided if they happen when she is emotionally disturbed & driven by an agenda, rather than present & available to receive the man. This can create domestic violence. If the man feels he is on the edge of his rage, he might well retreat into verbal trickery to defend himself or withdraw emotionally or physically. This can drive the woman into further pursuit so that the situation escalates. Both parties create domestic violence in different ways, the only solution is the awakening & increased consciousness of both the man & the woman.
